Overall, great product. Bright lights, and can’t beat the price for the quantity.But, it appears that in their effort to make these lights over the top awesome with the 4,927 different settings ranging from flashing to alternating to solid to fading in and out and back again- the list goes on- they created a problem.We live in 2021 and therefor I was planning on using a smart plug to easily put my lights on a schedule so they’d automatically turn on and off the same times every day and I’d never have to even think about it.So here’s the problem: every time you cut the power to the lights then turn them back on it defaults to the first pattern- the flashing and fading and alternating etc. Which some people might like, but as for me and my house, we just want solid glowing lights. No flashing etc.BUT, it’s looking like I’m either going to have to get used to the flashing and fading and alternating, OR, every night when they come on go outside with the provided remote and cycle them through to the “solid glow” setting.Which obviously defeats the whole purpose of having an autonomous Christmas lights setup. Not to mention the receiving box for the remote is on my roof so I’m standing in the middle of my lawn trying to get a connection so I can cycle through.Won’t be returning them as I already installed them on my house before I realized this issue. Just thought I’d share my experience in case this is a deal breaker for anyone.when the light where deliverd they were in a plastic bag instead of a box as shown in picture on there web page..they also were tingle up as if someone had use them and had no owner maual.Not bright enough the remote control you have to push down harder than you want to because you might break itI like the lights but based on the picture I thought they came in a circle on some kind of spool. They do not. They come in clumps which made it harder to handle all the lights.Good:BrightLots of lightspackaged wellBad:Have to set the lights every time its turned on. There is a timer setting on the plug, however I wanted them to work off a smart plug, and they do. However each time it turns on it dose the generic light pattern, have to use the remote to set to solid light.So, I should have read a bit more into it. However I would like a way to permanently set the pattern.Wow, this is super fun. It's so many lights and works great. The modes for shifting colors are a delight.We wanted dark green colored lights, these are a light green color, Love the length and brightness. Had to color the light covers with dark green marker to make them a shade of green that worked for our super tree. Just ordered another set after Christmas so we can add to them next season, but will once again have to dig out the marker..I use this for Christmas light which did the job for me! The 403 ft was just perfect! Now for the bad part, of you are buying this thinking it look like fairy light than your wrong! Only when the light are reel up like the picture that it has that purple fairy color. But once you separated it. There will. W no fairy color just blue,red,green, and orange.
