Whenever I tried to strap into my car, the latch plate (the part that clips into the buckle) was always too low for my left hand to grab when reaching over my shoulder. This clip, when installed below the latch plate, keeps it from sliding down the strap so I can grab it without straining myself (yeah I'm a bit overweight). The secondary advantage of this clip is that it keeps the lap part of the strap from hugging too tightly, which for some people, i.e. pregnant women, might be more comfortable. The only reason I didn't give this PACLVIO Car Seat Belt Adjuster five stars is because the part that clips down to lock comes undone by itself sometimes. The teeth that grabs onto the strap needs to be a bit longer, I think. As you can see from the images, there are no instructions in English so you're kind of on your own. But it's easy: you undo one end of the clip and slide the seatbelt strap in and reinstall. Overall, a fine product for what it was designed to do.
