Spyder Auto 5080196 LED Tail Lights Black/Clear - High-Performance Brake Lights for Cars, Trucks & SUVs

So...installed a taillight and tested it and my truck shot a message "Brake override malfunction" and taillights don't work and its crazy but i cant shift out of park now without holding the little override button next to the shifter. What in the hell did i miss? I had these on my 2017, no issuses.Great Thanksgiving.Dont get me wrong they look good but if there is no instructions or red flags to prevent this...thats crap.Did i stupidly miss something?This resolve and prevention of this should be FRONT AND CENTER, BOLD AND COLORED if this is a known thing.
