I found myself using a piece of 2x4 and tapping these to make the flush. In hindsight a stupid thing to do with lights but these are durable and every single one works perfectly. I like that they are dimable. The light is slightly in the bluish/cool spectra, especially when on full power but they are not too cool for my taste.
